Q. What's your network uptime guarantee?

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept all major forms of credit cards which include Visa, Mastercard, ccavenue, American Express, Discover & Bank Transfer. We also take PayPal payments as-well. Bank payments are also allowed (only for Indian clients)
Q. I want to signup but coming from a different host, can you help with transfers?
A. Absolutely! We offer free transfer services. We'll move your website files from your old host and we'll even transfer the domain for you to our network. If the account is very large then conditions may apply.
Q. Do you offer a site builder?
A. All our Linux based shared-hosting packages come with a Free website builder. We utilize RVsiteBuilder.
Q. Can I upgrade or downgrade my account?
A. Yes, your client area allows you to upgrade-downgrade accounts, the great part is, once you select your new package, itís provisioned instantly for you. All you have to pay is the difference between the two plans. The upgrade or downgrade is free.
Q. Are there any setup fees or other hidden costs?
A. We guarantee there are NO setup fees or hidden costs of ANY kind, you just pay the cost as specified on website, plus the cost of a domain name if you need it.
Q. Is My Credit Card Information Safe?
A. prewebhost doesn't have access to your credit card information. prewebhost does not store your credit card information on it's servers. The services we use are: 2checkout.com, Inc. is an authorized retailer of prewebhost PayPal
Q. Is your company a Reseller?
A. No, we're not a reseller, We manage and have root access to our servers.
Q. What control panel do you use?
A. prewebhost uses CPanel for linux based hosting plans and plesk for Windows based hosting plans.
Q. Where are your servers located?
A. Our servers are located in Canada, USA, Europe, France, Romania, Netherland.
Q. How soon the support tickets are answered?
A. All the tickets/support queries are answered within 2 hours but in most of the cases it takes only 30 mins.
Q. For Hosting my site with prewebhost, am I required to transfer my domain to prewebhost?
A. No, you are not required to transfer your domain to us. You need to just change the Domain Name Servers (DNS) setting with your current domain registrar.
Q. How long does it take for DNS settings to change over?
A. DNS changes can take anywhere from 24 - 72 hours to finish updating.
Q. Do I get my own CGI bin?
A. Yes. Every web hosting account gets their own separate CGI bin by default.
Q. Do you have ImageMagic Installed on Linux Server?
A. Yes, we do have ImageMagic installed on all our Linux Servers.
Q. Do you have GD Lib installed?
A. Yes, we have GD Library installed.
Q. Does your servers have FrontPage?
A. The microsoft frontpage extensions have come to an end of life and hence not supported anymore. You can alternatively using file manager to edit and save files from plesk control panel.
Q. Can you host all types of domain name extensions?
A. Yes we can host any valid domain extension.
Q. Do you offer private domain name servers for our domain ?
A. Yes we do. We offer Private Name Servers on Shared and Reseller Hosting plans for specific billing cycles.
Q. How do you monitor your servers?
A. We use Nagios server monitoring software to check the availability of our web servers every 2 minutes. The moment a web server goes down, our technical team gets right on it to fix the issue as soon as possible.
Q. Does prewebhost allow SSH access?
A. No we do not allow SSH access for security purpose.
Q. Can I run an online store by using a shopping cart software?
A. Yes you can and we provide many free shopping cart scripts for you to use. You can even install them with one click of a button. You would however need to use a shopping cart that is based out of PHP scripting language and MYSQL database software.
Q. Can I use ASP on your servers?
A. Sorry but we do not support ASP on our servers.
Q. Does your server support JSP?
A. No we do not support JSP.
Q. Do you host adult websites?
A. Yes, we do allow Legal adult contents.
Q. Is there any catch?

Q. What if my payment get failed fraud by 2co?
A. Your order has failed fraud review and is terminated at this time, upon further verification we can immediately re-activate your account, please contact our processor 2Checkout.com (2CO) directly to verify your payment, you can do this by telephone or ticket, ( see https://www.2checkout.com/community/help ) please quote the 2CO Order Number in any correspondence, do you have the 2CO Order Number?
Q. Are you really providing unlimited disk space?
A. Yes, we do provide Unlimited disk space with all our hosting plans.
Q. Are you really providing unlimited Bandwidth
A. Yes, we do provide Unlimited bandwidth with all our hosting plans. Please understand that our priority is to keep our servers in perfect operating condition so they will remain up and running at all times.

If any account jeopardises our servers or network, we will address this problem as soon as possible. A website is considered to be using "excessive amounts of resources" when the website uses 10% or more of our system resources for 60 seconds or longer.

There are numerous problems that could cause such problems including: CGI scripts, FTP, HTTP, etc. We reserve the right to suspend any hosting account that we feel is jeopardizing our network.

FAQ VPS-Dedicated

Q. What do the setup fees cover?
A. The setup fees are for assembling and connecting your server in our data centers. These are one-off fees which are only applied when your server is first set up.
Q. Are all dedicated products compatible with my server?
A. Options are linked to the 3 server ranges, so depending on whether you have an Enterprise server, a Hosting server or Infrastructure server, you will need to check that the option is compatible with your server before placing your order.
Q. Why is the anti-DDoS included as standard?
A. Protection Anti-DDoS protection is not an option at PWH for 2 reasons: >> an attack on your server will affect your business and could cause a huge shortfall or service interruption >> your saturated access could flood the common networks and affect other customers So to avoid making anti-DDoS a luxury option, PWH has spread the cost of the investment across all customers and has integrated this innovation into all hosting offers as standard.
Q. Why is the new support linked to my server and not to my customer profile?
A. It's highly likely that customers with large server farms will need greater support than customers having only one server, so it seems logical to match the support budget to the number of servers, rather than charging an amount that has no relation to usage.

Q. Why does my server need a certificate of conformity?

Q. Beyond the speed, what are the differences between the 3 bandwidth offers?
A. With the Premium, Platinum and Ultimate offers, you benefit from the performance of the PWH network across ever-expanding geographical boundaries. Beyond the PWH infrastructure, you switch onto other provider networks so that you get the guaranteed speed for your chosen offer.
Q. What's bandwidth Burst all about?
A. The 1 Gbps and 3 Gbps burst feature is enabled by default on servers connected in 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps (respectively). This service is disabled as soon as your average guaranteed bandwidth consumption exceeds 50%.
Q. How is my allocated burst period calculated?
A. Every 6 hours, we recalculate the average bandwidth consumed (based on 95%) and we compare it to 50% of the guaranteed bandwidth. If it's less, we don't change anything, but if it's higher, we will disable the burst temporarily and you won't be able to reactivate it. In other words, for 5% of the month (meaning 1 half day), you are entitled to 1 Gbps or 3 Gbps with no limitation. If beyond that half day you consume over 50% of the guaranteed bandwidth, your burst will be disabled and you can only use your guaranteed bandwidth.
Q. Can I disable the burst, what will happen if I do?
A. You can disable the burst by contact to us through email and your bandwidth will return to its guaranteed speed by default.
Q. Burstable bandwidth: what is this service used for?
A. Burstable bandwidth is ideal for network load peaks following TV, email and buzz marketing campaigns, or for ensuring on-demand high speed for your software update customers. If you would like to retain a constant high speed, contact us for bandwith offers.

Failover IPs and IP blocks

Q. If I don't renew my server, what will happen with my IPs and IP blocks?
A. Failover IPs and IP blocks routed to your server will be recycled along with the server, unless you move them to another server.
Q. If I don't renew my server, what will happen to my IPs from a block that has been split?
A. IPs from a block that has been split will be parked automatically and charged $5.00 /month/IP
Q. How do I keep my IPs without having to route them on a server?
A. You can retain them by parking them so you can reuse them at a later date. If you park an IP or an IP block, you will be charged $5.00 /month/IP.
Q. I paid for my failover IPs or IP blocks in advance, will you offer any refund?
A. Yes, you will be automatically refunded pro rata for the amount already charged from May 1st 2014 (in the form of a credit which can be used to make subsequent payments).
Q. What do the setup fees cover?
A. The setup fees enable activation of the IPs ordered. The price is from $5.00 /IP. A block of 4 IPs (/30) will be charged, for example $20.00 /IP
Q. How do I cancel my IPs?
A. To cancel blacklisted IPs, you will first need to take the necessary action with different entities in order to resolve the status of your IPs and then contact us through email.

Q. I paid for my licenses in advance, will you offer any refund?
A. Yes, you will be automatically refunded pro rata for the amount already charged from May 1st 2014 (in the form of a credit which can be used to make subsequent payments).
Q. What are the benefits of the Virtual Rack or "vRack"?
A. The Virtual Rack enables multiple servers to be joined together virtually, regardless of their number or physical location in our data centers, connecting them to a virtual switch within the same private network. Your servers can thus communicate securely and privately.

A. The Infrastructure range of servers are directly linked to the vRack option, and have 2 network cards: >> the first one enables external access to your infrastructure from the public internet. >> the second enables you to link your servers together in a secure VLAN..
